Hardware
Computer Care Consultants Ltd can help you to acquire all necessary IT hardware, ensuring that your investment is capable of meeting your specific objectives. We can help you to identify the types of technologies and equipment that are most suited to both your current and expected needs whilst directing you to the best sources. We are an independent consultancy provider; as such we have no tie-ins with equipment suppliers, meaning we are free to search the entire sector for the best products and prices available to you.
Software
We can also help you to source your software. We will help you to identify the most appropriate and cost effective software applications for your business. Off-the-shelf applications are often the best choice; these are not as expensive as customised software packages, they do provide after-sales support and you’re not reinventing the wheel. We can provide advice and guidance about issues like licensing, future upgrade potential and hardware compatibility.
Structured Cabling
As more and more businesses begin to realise the benefits of a fully integrated and networked office, the importance of providing a sound infrastructure to support it has grown. We can install CAT5/CAT6 cabling, still preferred for most office applications as it can be used for computer networks and telephone systems, along with the cable management systems needed to maintain your network. Our consultants will be happy to explain any ‘grey’ areas to you in plain English.
Networking / Installation
We will work with you to identify the most appropriate network type for your business and help to install and maintain the infrastructure required to support it. A Local Area Network (LAN) connects office computers and can be either wired or wireless, or a mixture of both. You may also require remote access to your central network, this can be accomplished through a Virtual Private Network (VPN) or through a Wide Area Network (WAN), which will connect several client/server LANs. From running cabling, installing wireless access points and providing network management systems we will ensure you have the right infrastructure to support your network needs.
Leasing
There are many benefits for leasing your IT equipment. Most large investment in IT systems proves costly due to the technologies involved and the amount of equipment and material required to support a multi-user office. By leasing or renting your equipment, which for tax purposes is seen as a deductible revenue expense, you avoid the burden of a large, initial outlay that you would have with a cash purchase. You are only required to make an initial deposit followed by monthly payments for the remainder of the lease agreement. VAT payments are then spread over the term of the agreement and can be budgeted for. In simple terms, you pay for the equipment as it works for you!
You can avoid a major disruption to your cash flow and the interest rate remains fixed throughout the term of your agreement. It also eliminates fears that your needs will outstrip your aging technology, as a lease term is more temporary than if you had made an outright purchase. Technology evolves at a rapid pace and hardware and software can quickly become obsolete. Leasing will offer you the opportunity to finance much higher specification equipment and software and allow you to gain as much effective lifespan as possible from your investment.
At the end of the contract term, you can either pay a pre-agreed sum to take ownership of the equipment, upgrade the equipment via a new lease agreement (often for a similar amount you are already paying) or you can simply return the equipment. You choose whichever option best satisfies your needs.
We work closely with a well-established finance company who can advise you in more depth as to which package will prove most suitable for your requirements.
